Things To Do
    #1 Biking the Creeper Trail- Ride almost all down hill from WhiteTop Station to Damascus OR ride almost all down hill from Abingdon to Damascus
(this part of the trail is more level; more pedaling.
approximately 3 & 1/2 hours allowing for stops and lunch.
   
#2 Fishing - Laural creek offers some of the best trout fishing in the country.

#3 Hiking - The Appalacian Trail, The Iron Mountain Trail, Backbone Rock, and The Creeper Trail. There are many other hikes, just ask.

#4 Swimming - Play in the creeks or swim in the pool the best excercise for children and adults. Wear sun screen on hot days. Swim at own risk.

#5 Boating - The South Holson Lake is about 20 - 25 minutes away. Rent a 10 person pontoon at Friendship boat dock Don't forget to jump off Cliff Island!

#6 Bristol & Abingdon - Bristol was declared the birthplace of country music by the congress of the USA. Check out State Street in downtown, South Holston Lake, and the Bristol Caverns. Abingdon is one of oldest towns in VA (1778). Check out The Barter Theater, Martha Washington Inn, and The Tavern.

35 minutes to Bristol / 20 minutes to Abingdon.
   
#7 Kayaking and Tubing - If the rivers are at a good water level this can be a lot of fun! The more down stream you go the higher water levels.

Located in the prettiest part of TN is Laurel Bloomery at the Old Mill Park along side the river with all the camping and fun you can have to end the season!!Always the Sat. before Labor Day, admission at gate.
